Hi all, Cops, as far as I know do not do survey regarding traffic flow. In Massachusetts, if posted speed limit is 65 mph for example, you are going 70-75 mph.......most likely you'd get a warning unless you're mouthy :) . First 10 mile over the posted limit is $50 fine. Every mile after 10 is $10 each and $25 surcharge. Few tips to remember when get pulled over: Remain calm, be polite and do not afraid to admit your mistakes. NEVER ARGRUE !!!!You'll should be ok :) Take care all Vo911turbo......Is my nick name too abvious 911 :):My pastor at church, who is also a Captain of the police dept. where I live, mentioned tonight that Cops have to do a speed survey of 75 cars before giving someone a ticket in that location. Regardless of the posted speed limit, the average speed at which the current traffic is flowing (the 75 cars surveyed) is the new determined speed limit and therefore you can not get a speeding ticket for anything under that speed, eg. average speed is 70 in a 55 and you get a ticket for doing 68 then you take it to the court and you automatically win the case. I’m not sure where you go to find out the survey info for the date/time/location for your case in particular but probably just the police station that the Cop works at.
